| Aktion: Lehrgang Wo: Amman, Jordan Wann: 30th of May – 2nd of June, 2024 (traveling days: 29th of May and 3rd of June 2024) Thema: The project SAYN aims to develop a non-formal educational methodology to empower young people Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), through the enhancement of the soft skills needed to navigate the job market and achieve their professional goals. The project focuses on empowering youth by imparting essential job-related skills such as adaptability, goal-oriented thinking, teamwork, leadership, confidence, and international collaboration abilities. The project also aims to foster international collaboration, sharing best practices among youth-focused organizations to create a sports-based educational approach for tackling youth unemployment. Overall, the goal is to equip youth with the tools they need to succeed professionally and thrive in an increasingly competitive global landscape. ANSATZ / METHODIK: Nicht-formale Bildung. Wer kann sich bewerben? We are looking for 3 Youth Workers from Germany. Was wird getan? In the context of a specific TC, engaged youth workers will take part in a process of learning, grounded on sport and non – formal education. Participants will be provided with the skills to act as local educators and supporters of the youth in using sport to empower youth employment. In the TC a space will be provided to participants to be co-creators of the training, delivering workshops themselves, sharing good practices of their organization. The material produced during the training will be tested by the youth workers who participated locally and internationally during the following project’s activities (youth exchange, job shadowing, local workshop). The methodology used during the training course will be non – formal education combined with sport activities, concretely with the following activities: icebreakers, role plays, brainstorming, group activities, interactive discussions, team building activities, outdoor activities, and team games. At the same time, the participants will be involved in sport activities, with the purpose to learn a new way to use the educational potential of sport, especially to empower entrepreneurship.
