| Aktion: Lehrgang Wo: Aix en Provence, France Wann: 11/12 – 15/12 2023 Thema: The project aims at encouraging interest in the STEM approach, also in order to find a further way to give a possible answer to environment and climate change, and green skills. Indeed, STEM skills to be gained in primary school education have great importance in achieving sustainable development goals. The methods adopted along the project are storytelling and gamification, through which is easier to call attention on the STEM approach at an early age, considering the pedagogical characteristics of the students. The project foreseen the introduction of applications, such as Makerspace, Tinker, Growplanet and Stem Discovery Week, that will support students to learn while playing and will also enable them to use technology appropriately and correctly. ANSATZ / METHODIK: Nicht-formale Bildung. Wer kann sich bewerben? We are looking for 2 educators from Germany. Was wird getan? During the training course, information will be given about the STEM pedagogy to be applied in STEM education for primary school students, as well as innovative educational pedagogies of STEM field will be introduced. Moreover, a full picture on how to implement in STEM education engaging story-telling technique and methods. Finally, a showcase on gamification and utilizing technology in STEM education will be provided. The participants’ practical experience will be made on Growplanet, Tinkercad, google.edu platforms, where students will be able to make use of technology and design.
