| Action: Training Course Where: Athen, Greece When: 24/07 – 28/07 2023 (travel days 23.07 – 29.07) Topic: DECRYPT – Digital and scientific liteRacY uPskilling for adulTs – intends to promote the exchange of good practices of digital and science education for adults to foster a better understanding of scientific concepts helping to identify reliable sources in new media. The target group involved in the joint staff training event will be adults’ educators and operators of the STEM field aimed at improving their scientific literacy and digital skills. APPROACH / METHODOLOGY: Non-formal education. Who can apply: We are looking for 3 adult educators and operators in the STEM field from Germany. What will be done: During the training days, participants will engage in a variety of activities to enhance their scientific literacy and digital skills. They will attend workshops and presentations on digital and science education, where they will learn effective strategies for teaching adults. Practical exercises and hands-on experiments will be conducted to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts. Participants will also explore new media and learn how to critically evaluate information sources, enabling them to identify reliable scientific information and share it with others.
