| Action: Training Course Where: Terrassa, Spain When: 15-19th of April 2024 (travel days: 14th and 20th of April 2024) Topic: The “STEM’s Challenge is the Future” is an initiative aimed at fostering interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines while addressing pressing global challenges such as environmental sustainability and climate change. The methods adopted along the project are storytelling and gamification, through which is easier to call attention to the STEM approach at an early age, considering the pedagogical characteristics of the students. The project has foreseen the introduction of applications, such as Makerspace, Tinker, Growplanet, and Stem Discovery Week, that will support students to learn while playing and will also enable them to use technology appropriately and correctly. APPROACH / METHODOLOGY: Non-formal education. Who can apply: We are looking for 2 Youth Educators/Trainers/Teachers from Germany. What will be done: The training’s main focus is “How to implement STEM methodologies in the classroom with kids?” and is dedicated to empowering educators with practical insights and strategies for implementing STEM methodologies in the classroom with primary school children. These workshops aim to provide a comprehensive approach to STEM education, encompassing all aspects of STEM. Participation is free of charge and travel costs and accommodation are reimbursed! |
