Monika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Rehabilitation from the University of Zagreb, and is soon to complete a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation, Sophrology, and Art/Expressive Therapy.

She has worked on adapting school materials to facilitate learning for students with learning and developmental disabilities and has designed workshops infused with art therapy elements to empower people with disabilities, as well as students pursuing helping professions. Monika also participates in volunteer work, including providing support through a phone helpline for women with rare diseases, leading musical orkshop sin a preschool setting, and assisting individuals with ASD and intellectual disabilities in various everyday activities.

Monika’s professional interests are social inclusion, combating discrimination, supporting professionals in helping professions, and the promotion of mental health.
