“Empowering the professional profile of people with migrant background” (JobLinguo) project is aimed to support the job market inclusion of people with migrant background through the improvement of their professional profile in terms of sectoral language, and to adapt the training offer of VET providers and other stakeholders to the linguistic needs of people with migrant background.

TARGET GROUPs

Direct target groups of JobLinguo project are:

  1. Partners members experts in language teaching that will cooperate to create the sectoral language programmes to be implemented in all countries.

N°: 1 per partner.

Age: 18+  

Experience required in the field: at least 2 years.

  1. Stakeholders’ expert from the public administration, agricultural, financial and insurance activities field that will provide the language teaching expert with information related to the sectoral language knowledge they require from the potential candidates to be employed.

N°: 1 per sector / country

Age: 18+

Experience required in the field: at least 2 years.

  1. People with migrant background that already own the competencies related to the public administration, agricultural, financial and insurance activities fields and need to acquire the linguistic knowledge in order for their profile to be completed and be qualified as potential employees in the new hosting country.

N° 15 per country.

Age: 18+

Experience required in the field: studies or job related.

Indirect target groups of JobLinguo project are:

  1. Stakeholders from the Vocational Education and Training sector;
  2. Stakeholders from the public administration, agricultural, financial and insurance activities;
  3. Stakeholders from the language teaching sector (language schools/centres);
  4. Stakeholders working with the target group of people with migrant background (NGOs/hosting centres).

PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES

“Empowering the professional profile of people with migrant background” (JobLinguo) project is aimed at achieving thefollowing objectives:

O1 > Support the job market inclusion of people with migrant background through the improvement of their professional profile in terms of sectoral language.

O2 > Adapt the training offer of VET providers and other stakeholders to the linguistic needs of people with migrant background

APPROACH / METHODOLOGY

The programme will be structured in three sections, one dedicated to the public administration one to the agricultural field and the third one to the financial and insurance activities.
Each section will be divided into sub-sections related to the daily work aspects of the selected sectors. The programme will combine reading, listening and graphic representation to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

Project ACTIVITIES

JobLinguo project envisages the following activities:

  • Project Management: related to project management, coordination and monitoring.
  • Development of the sectoral language programme: elaboration of the programme for VET learners with migrant background.
  • Implementation of local trainings: testing phase of the programme developed in An2.
  • Project Dissemination: related to the digital and physical dissemination of the project results.

The intellectual output will be:

  • Successful elaboration of 4 sectoral language programmes, including the 3 languages represented in the Consortium, plus English for long – term perspective exploitation.
  • Successful implementation of 3 sectoral language training programmes (1 per country) that will involve 45 people with migrant background in total (15 per country).
  • Successful implementation of local conferences, in which the Consortium will share the resu lts achieved through the project, will involve stakeholders
