Combining Sport, Fun and Environmental Consciousness 

 

SUMMARY 

Recognising the importance of outdoor activities in fostering both personal and collective health in an era marked by sedentarism, NEETActive targets NEETs (18-30) to promote physical activity while working towards environmental awareness and social inclusion. By training youth workers, the project seeks to use football and orienteering as educational methodologies and to explore their role in promoting sustainable practices.

Projekt ZIELE: 

O1: To increase physical activity among NEETs by promoting regular participation in physical activities and outdoor sports; 
O2: To build environmental awareness through outdoor activities by educating NEETs on sustainable practices and environmental responsibility; 
O4: To develop skills for youth workers by training them to design and deliver programs on the project’s topic. 

ABSTRACT: 

Seeking to raise environmental awareness among young NEETs, NEETActive explores the use of football and orienteering as non-formal learning methodologies to foster social inclusion and promote well-being. Focusing on training youth workers through workshops, innovative tools and the sharing of best practices, the project aims to advance environmental education through outdoor physical activities and sports.

  1. Educational Programme and Online Toolkit to be used by youth works.  
  2. Training seminars for youth workers.  
  3. Implementation of NEETActive action targeting NEETs.
