NGO Nest Berlin is a Berlin-based non-profit organisation that implements social inclusion projects throughout Europe.

Our team consists of young men and women, between 20 and 35 years old, coming from different parts of the world, who will immediately put you at ease, accompanying you around the city’s cultural centres and nightlife.

Thanks to the team, you will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and expertise in the implementation of European projects, following them in all their phases.

European Solidarity Corps

NGO Nest Berlin is part of ESC (European Solidarity Corps):
The European Solidarity Corps aims to strengthen solidarity in European society, engaging young people in accessible and high-quality solidarity activities. The programme supports activities in the fields of volunteering, Solidarity Projects, Humanitarian aid volunteering (European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps).

NGO Nest Berlin will give you the opportunity to gain experience and enlarge your Job Network and Skills.
Whether you are looking for a sending or a hosting organization, our years of experience in the field of volunteering will be of great support to you.

CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • You can register for the European Solidarity Corps when you are 17 years old, but you cannot start a project until you are over 18. European Solidarity Corps projects will be available to people up to the age of 30 years old.
  • Projects supported by the European Solidarity Corps can last from two to twelve months.

Erasmus+ Student Traineeship

Are you a university student and would you like to do a funded internship experience in Germany in NGO Nest Berlin?

Erasmus+ Student Traineeship (work placements, internships) abroad at any workplace for students currently enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme Countries at short-cycle Bachelor and Master level as well as for doctoral candidates. These opportunities are also open to recent graduates.

CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Erasmus+ traineeships are open to any student enrolled in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education.
  • Traineeships abroad can receive Erasmus+ support from 2 to 12 months.
  • Students and recent graduates can also do a blended mobility, which means combining a short physical stay abroad (between 5 and 30 days) with a virtual period.
  • Trainees can also combine an Erasmus+ traineeship with a study period abroad.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries.

The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.

CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • New entrepreneurs, firmly planning to set up their own business or have already started one within the last three years
  • Experienced entrepreneurs who own or manage a Small or Medium-Sized Enterprise in one of the Participating Countries
  • no age limit – all ages can participate
  • no topic restrictions – any industry or sector can take part
  • Entrepreneurs abroad can receive Erasmus+ support from 1 to 6 months.

Freiwilliges soziales Jahr (FSJ)

The Freiwilliges soziales Jahr (FSJ) is the year of national civil service, and it is a voluntary service in social areas. It is offered in Germany to adolescents and young adults who have already completed full-time compulsory education and have not yet reached the age of 27, i.e. have not yet celebrated their 27th birthday. The FSJ provides for reimbursement of expenses, in addition to travel, accommodation and meals expenses.

CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • You must not be older than 26 while working in the FSJ
  • Foreigners can also complete an FSJ in Germany (!!!).
  • March 31st is the application deadline
  • The voluntary social year lasts at least 6, but no more than 18 months.
