The project aims to enhance NFE skills for staff to train unemployed adults in financial literacy and management. Long-term unemployment among older adults is a major issue, with many struggling to find work and lacking training opportunities. Financial literacy remains low, limiting informed decision-making. Teaching financial skills can help unemployed adults optimize spending, build savings and reduce anxiety, improving stability and career prospects.

TARGET GROUPS:
Project OBJECTIVES:
- Increase awareness and understanding of financial literacy basics and NFE methodology among educators and trainers
- Develop educational resources and training programs to integrate financial literacy into NFE for unemployed adults
Project RESULTS:
- 7 days of Training Course in Portugal for 3 participants
- 20 days of Job Shadowing in Germany for 2 participants
