Enhancing Tolerance and Integration through NFE
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Enhancing Tolerance and Integration through Non-Formal Education (NFE) focuses on intercultural competence, migrant integration, social inclusion and innovative NFE. It develops staff skills through job-shadowing and training in intercultural communication, inclusive educational methods, community engagement and program evaluation. The project aims to strengthen NGO NEST Berlin’s capacity to design culturally tailored NFE programs for migrant communities, particularly from North Africa and the Caribbean, fostering mutual understanding, tolerance and social cohesion.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- To gain a deep understanding of cultural differences and acquire practical experience in effectively working with specific cultural groups (through Job shadowing activity.)
- To develop specific intercultural skills and innovative methods for creating inclusive NFE programs(through Training Course activity).
TARGET GROUPS
- Migrant populations from the Caribbean and North Africa.
PROJECT RESULTS
- 14 days Job Shadowing in the Netherlands for 2 participants
- 7 days Training Course in Italy for 4 participants
