ABSTRACT:
Youth work is often regarded as the poor relation where the provision of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is concerned. The project will address its training programme to youth professionals and will devise a training model that is accessible and suits the availability of all youth workers regardless of the burdens they may face (disability, health issues, unemployment or insecure employment, etc). The youth workers involved in our project as participants will be able to: deal with complicated situations that appear when working with these teenagers and young adults; apply methods and tools that help maintain motivation and energy during different activities; understand what makes their activities high-quality and have a space for sharing their experiences in international contexts. FELLOWSHIP will increase quality youth work thanks to an innovative coaching programme that will update skills for youth workers.
