Marta has a background in Political Science and International Relations and recently completed amaster’s degree in Socialand Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven, Belgium. Having previously researched topics such as colonialism, urbanism, and memory, she is strongly interested in exploringhow research and artistic practices can be used to empower communities. At NGO NEST Berlin, sheaims to apply her knowledge at the intersection of these fields to international projects that foster dialogue, justice, and meaningful change. She speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish and is learning German.
